I found Debt Recovery Resources through an internet search. I was contacted by sales representative and due to his knowledge and tenacity. We chose Debt Recovery Resources over the other agencies that contacted us. He didn’t come across as someone looking for a sale, but more so someone truly looking to help. We placed an account that was located out of Florida and within 1 day the client contacted us to make a good faith payment. Within three weeks the account was collected in full. I worked with Mike Owen, he was great! I had an issues with this horrible contractor, he’s one of the worst human beings I’ve ever come in contact with. Long story short, the contractor was trying to short change me. I ended up putting a lien on his property which didn’t do much, hired an attorney and then creating a additional invoice for work that was done plus attorney fees, lien fees, lien removal fees. I put a second lien on the property, still no response so I sent him to collections. Interestingly enough, once he was in collections (what he originally owed me has now doubled) it caught his attention. The collections agency is having a sit down meeting with the clients attorney sometime this week. I highly recommend!
